11th Conference “City of the Future” – Healthy, Sustainable Metropolises

About the conference:

The 11th City of the Future Conference is dedicated to the topic of ‘Health and Sustainability in Urban Regions’. The focus is on the networking of cities and regions in the context of health and sustainability, with special regard to transport infrastructure. In various formats, perspectives from science and practice will be presented and discussed with the participants. The conference venue is located in Hamburg-Wilhelmsburg, which is not only the largest district in Hamburg in terms of area, but perhaps also the most diverse and dynamic. The island of Wilhelmsburg, surrounded by the river Elbe, is the scene of numerous interesting urban development measures, such as the creation of the ‘Inselpark’ (island park) or the ‘Elbinselquartier’ (Elbe island district). Walks in the surrounding area integrated into the program are intended to give an impression of this.
